The food was fantastic!
The decorations were perfect!
The stories were fun (and at times, embarrassing).
The father/daughter and mother/son dance was a very precious moment that will be held in our hearts for a long time. We are both very grateful to our wonderful parents for all their love, support, and efforts in raising us (we know it was tough) - thank you!
Our first dance was lovely! As we started moving around the dance floor, we thoroughly enjoyed our moments together, yet, we loved when many of the couples in the room came in to join us on the dance floor :) It turned out to be a wonderful family dance session :)
The cake cutting portion was . . . slightly different than the norm. Neither of us really like cake, but we both really like apple crisp . . . :)

Of course, we had to have the bouquet toss to all the single girls in the room. . . Yet again, though, we had to do something different. Instead of simply tossing the bouquet, we decided to hand out the individual orange lilies, red roses, and white orchids to any of the girls (and even some of the young boys) who wanted them. It was actually really fun to give each of the girls a piece of the bridal bouquet - some of them were smiling so wide :)
After the majority of the bouquet flowers had found a new home, we then proceeded to the bouquet toss of whatever was left. With all the girls set up and ready to go . . . and . . . Jess missed it! Landed right in front of her!!! :)
She did get it in the end though. :)
